Yuri Favorin, a graduate of theMoscow P.I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory where he studied piano under Prof. Mikhail Voskresensky, composition under K. Khachaturian and chamber ensemble under A. Rudin. Yuri has been an active participant of numerous music festivals both in Russia and overseas. Having performed in many countries of the world. Yuri is an owner of the first prize of the Moscow N.G. Rubinstein Open Junior Competition (2001), an György Cziffra award of the Cziffra Foundation (Vienna, 2003) and a diploma of the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation. Also, he is a laureate of many other Russian and international competitions as Festival de la Roque d'Anthéron, "Yury Favorin, brilliant laureate of the Queen Elisabeth Competition 2010 is incredibly talented!" Olivier Vannieu.

The CD is recorded in studio Flagey (Brussels, Belgium). Yury Favorin plays Franz Liszt’s Harmonies Poétiques et Religieuses. This CD is released on the MUSO label in 2013.
